Born onApril 18 avril 1957, he was already a driver.

He began first with a Cooking school but not far from a Track as he studied in Spa.

The 20 first years of his life at the Mont Rigi in the family restaurant, his destiny was just next to it at Francorchamps. The track is a entire part of his life from the beginning. However, Marc Duez is described as the most well-known multi-tasks man of Belgium in motorsport.

Inthe mid-70s, he cut his teeth in karting school, culminating in a victory at Volant Karting before diving into rally specials, which he began to hone in 1977. His career will experience a long ascent to all the summits.

Over 29 years, and the end of this fantastic story is not yet written, he will multiply victories in rally, but also in Proto Sport, single-seater, grand touring and even ice racing. When leafing through the golden pages of his record, we come across the following achievements on the circuit:

• 3 times 24h of Spa-Francorchamps victory
• 4 times 24 heures of Nürburgring victory
